Santos Press, LLC is calling for Veteran poets interested in seeing their poems in print to submit their poetry for inclusion in the upcoming book, Veteran Voices: An anthology of poems by those who served. The Project is open to all US Veterans from all branches (Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard). The call for poetry submission is open now and will remain open until July 24, 2026.
Cost: there is no cost to submit your poem(s) and no fees will be charged if your poem(s) is/are chosen for inclusion. In return, authors whose poems are chosen for inclusion will receive a hard copy of the book at no cost including shipping if shipping is within the US.
How to submit your poem for consideration: if you are a Veteran interested in seeing your poem(s) in print, visit Santos Press for submission guidelines and emailing the curator through the web form for more information and/or to signal your interest. Upon receipt, you will receive an email response with the email address where you can send your manuscript(s). Unfortunately, to minimize the risk of malicious files being sent through the site, the ability to submit files directly through the web form has been disabled.
A Note for Currently Serving Personnel (Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard): Santos Press welcomes submissions from those currently in uniform. However, these entries will undergo a specialized review process focused on two priorities: ensuring that OPSEC (Operations Security) is maintained and protecting the author’s privacy. For work that reflects personal dissatisfaction or sensitive internal perspectives, we will work closely with the author to ensure his/her identity and career is protected.
